Here is our Tucson 2012 Update...

We will be at The Pueblo Gem & Mineral Show in Tucson at The Riverpark Inn, in

Room 182 in the International Fine Mineral Building.

We are thrilled to return to Room 182 at the Riverpark Inn, where we have ample display space, an adjoining 10’ x 10’ tent, and new for 2012, an additional 15’ x 15’ “Crystal Experience” tent in the courtyard. We plan to be set up and ready to receive clients by Tuesday day afternoon, January 24th. While the Pueblo Show closes on February 10th, we will remain open through Saturday, February 12th.

This year we’ve expanded the quantity and variety of our Uruguayan and Brazilian Amethyst Geodes, Specimens, and Flowers, Selenite, and Points. Thanks to a very productive trip to the South of Brazil in December, we will have an abundance of select, very special material for you to complement our crystals, gems, and minerals from Minas Gerais, and comprehensive selection of Lemurian Seed Crystals, including.:

 

Our Tucson 2012 Amethyst Specimen Collection...

An almost 300kg lot of Brazilian and Uruguayan Amethyst Specimens. With rare and beautiful formations, premium color, and exceptional quality, this collection was assembled over many months. Individually, the pieces are all special and unique, and together the effect is impressive and breath taking. Please click here to see photos. Premium Agate, Selenite, Amethyst Flowers, and Natural Prasiolite...

Thanks to our long term friends and suppliers throughout Rio Grande do Sul, we secured an exceptional parcel of Natural and Semi Polished Premium Agate,  Clear Selenite from Geodes with Matrix and Inclusions, Colorful Amethyst Flowers, and Natural Prasiolite. 

Prasiolite is a type of Quartz  that has a pleasant, green color, and is often produced artificially through heat and radiation. Natural Prasiolite is very rare, and on occasion is discovered in the Amethyst region of Brazil. Unlike regular Brazilian Amethyst, which is mined from solid Basalt, Prasiolite is formed when Amethyst Geodes are ejected to the surface by volcanic action. Over time, exposure to natural solar radiation produces the green color, and the crystal becomes more clear. Here’s a link to photos of this amazing material.

Blue Quartz and Premium Albite Specimens...

This material from the Araçuaí region of Minas Gerais, is all natural and in excellent condition. The Blue Quartz has very unique crystallization, with a soft, pale blue color, indicative of inclusions of Indicolite Tourmaline and/or Actinolite. The Albite is a variety known as Cleavelandite, with gemmy, bladed crystals, excellent for collection as well as energy. Please click here for photos.

Citrine Cathedral and Indicolite Quartz...

Also from Minas Gerais, comes a spectacular lot of Citrine Cathedral Quartz, in excellent condition, very clear, and completely natural. Covered with interesting growth patterns and designs (often called “record keepers”), a good portion of the parcel  is Citrine. Our Indicolite Quartz is selectively polished, and very popular for collection, jewelry, and energy work. Here’s the photo link.

Black Tourmaline...

We have two very interesting, all natural parcels of Black Tourmaline. The first has Gemmy Green and Blue highlights, and the second features unusual terminations and formations. Both are very shiny and high quality material, which is very difficult to find these days in Brazil. For photos, please click here.
